Founder / Owner

Born in the Philippines and raised on the Big Island, Hawaii, Tokiwa travels to Duluth, Minnesota for a BA degree in Art & Humanities from the College of St. Scholastica in 2010. After 9 years in an office setting she knew it wasn’t for her and has joined the beauty industry since 2019!

Tokiwa has spent the beginning of her beauty career as a Licensed Eyelash Technician. After perfecting her artistry with lashes, she pursued her license in Cosmetic Tattoo in 2021. Her attention to detail and creativity drew her interest into the artistry of Microblading. Tokiwa is a certified PhiBrow Artist through the most prestigious world renowned permanent makeup schools, PhiAcademy and has been training side-by-side with two of Minneapolis most reputable Microblading and Lash Liner Artist, & North Carolina’s well respected Lip Blush Artist.

Tokiwa is driven by passion and purpose, her dedication is to make every individual feel more confident and beautiful in their own skin by enhancing their natural features. Tokiwa is constantly striving to grow and continually learning to mastering new techniques. Being able to help make a difference in someone else’s life is her goal. Remember, less is more and with Refine Enhancements, you can do less and still look put together.

With a degree in Art, Tokiwa has decided to continue and expand her artistic skills through Fine Line & Tiny Tattoos.

When she is not at work she enjoys spending her day with her family and dog. She loves to host and enjoy good company with friends and family.
